Dozens of micro LEDs are placed on a sturdy metal base and protected by a silicone layer. The filament emits bright light at the front. It also gives a softer glow at the back. The LED works on only 3V and is easy to connect. Use a small resistor to limit the current to a maximum of 100 mA. The filament is reminiscent of traditional incandescent wires. This makes it perfect for creative projects. Thanks to the possibility to dim the filament with PWM, you can easily adjust the light intensity.
