This is the 16-channel PWM/Servo driver from Adafruit. It allows you to make a robot, hexapod or interactive artwork yourself. You can control servo motors, but also LED lights with precise PWM output. Standard microcontrollers only have a limited amount of PWM pins. Thanks to this PWM/Servo driver that is no problem.
With just 2 pins you can control 16 free running PWM outputs! You can even chain 62 of these boards together to control up to 992 PWM outputs.
