Explore the world of Python and physical programming with the Kitronik Discovery Kit for Raspberry Pi Pico (Pico not included) .
The Kitronik Discovery Kit for Raspberry Pi Pico is the perfect way to learn more about the Pico microcontroller . You will learn Python programming and working with physical electronics. The kit comes with all the necessary components to create the 7 included experiments . Including a large breadboard. The kit is packed in a sturdy reusable packaging that can be used to store the kit. This version of the kit does NOT come with a Raspberry Pi Pico. So you can choose which version of the Pico you use.

The seven experiments take you from the basics of using the board to more advanced concepts . In addition, you will learn to work with external electronics. The experiments cover important concepts of microcontrollers. For example, it covers: basic configuration, basic programming, interrupts, threads, digital input, and analog and digital output .
The kit comes with a comprehensive instruction booklet (in English). The booklet covers the basic configuration and then how to perform each of the 7 experiments . Each experiment is provided with detailed circuit diagrams, explanations and a full code description. This means you can get started without having to understand too much Python.

The Raspberry Pi Pico board is a new, low-cost, high-performance microcontroller. The board features a powerful Raspberry Pi -designed ARM-based dual-core chip - the RP2040 . The Pico also features 64KB of internal RAM and support for up to 16MB of external Flash . A wide range of flexible I/O options include I2C, SPI, and programmable I/O (PIO). These support endless potential applications for this small and affordable board.
The kit is programmed using MicroPython, which is a full Python 3 implementation. It is specifically designed for small embedded microcontrollers. It works with the Pico and the popular BBC micro:bit. You use the Thonny editor to create your code. It can then be sent directly from the editor to the Pico via USB. Thonny is a Python editor/IDE designed to get beginners up and running with Python coding as quickly as possible .

No power adapter is needed. Power is supplied via the USB connection to the computer running the Thonny editor.
Please note: A USB cable is NOT included. USB cables suitable for data transfer and power are available separately. The Raspberry Pi Pico is NOT included with this kit.
