Bambu Lab PETG Basic is an all-round filament for functional prints. It has been improved by Bambu for high strength, with the toughness that makes PETG so appealing. As a result, it is suitable for parts that need to take a bit more abuse. Think of brackets, holders, covers, and parts for everyday use.
PETG Basic is also a good choice if your print comes into contact with moisture or outside air. The material is more resistant to water, UV, and temperature fluctuations than PLA. Additionally, the formula is designed for cleaner printing. You experience less stringing and get a smoother surface. This saves time during finishing.
This variant is Reflex Blue and comes with a spool. You receive 1 kg of filament with a diameter of 1.75 mm. The spool is made of ABS and is heat-resistant up to 70 °C. Bambu recommends a 230–260 °C nozzle and a 65–75 °C bed. Use a Cool Plate Supertack, Textured PEI Plate, or Smooth PEI Plate. Glue is recommended for good adhesion. Store the filament airtight with desiccant and keep the humidity below 20% RH.
